With Gemma here, Natalie doesn't know what this new horse or whatever is, but she wants it gone from her house. She feels she rightfully inherited alpha dog/pet status from Terrence, and this thing can't just waltz in here like she owns the place and expect not to get growled at constantly every time they're in the same room. Gemma, on the other hand, seems to think that Natalie and her little over-possessiveness thing is adorable and thinks it's great that there's a small, helpless puppy in the house with her. On the other hand, the kids have all liked having Gemma here, though Hannah is definitely unsure at times. Joshua thinks she's pretty cool, though he mostly wants to just concentrate on his various backyard adventures. Clara, on the other hand, is in love. In this picture, she's actually in mid-air while jumping for excitement that Gemma is near her. And she keeps saying things like "Gemma is my best friend", "C'mon girl, I'll get you some water", "How come we don't have a big dog?", and "When is Natalie going to get big?". Bad news, Clara.
