Four and a Half!

Today Joshua turned 4.5 years old. He is such a big kid now. He loves all thing boy. Here you can see him digging in the mud after the rain. He is so happy with dirt, sand, and mulch and a shovel. He loves hammering or sawing or any kind of tools. He loves being outside in any weather. He is the ringleader of our family and frequently gets his sisters to follow his lead, whether that's good or bad. Clara is his best friend and his partner in crime, though Hannah is the one he loves being silly with. His favorite book is 'The Book with No Pictures' because it's so silly. His favorite show is Arthur, though he also really likes Sheriff Callie. In the past few months he has become so much more of a complex thinker. He makes connections and applies those connections to other things. He is about 40.5 inches tall and weighs about 34.5 lbs. We love him so much and are enjoying watching him grow into a big kid with his own thoughts and ideas.
