We went on a family walk/ride after dinner tonight. This was our first family walk/ride of the year, so it was a chance for each kid to upgrade to newer and better means of transportation compared to last year. This was the perfect time for Joshua to use his new scooter that he got for Easter, but he wanted to ride a bike that was too small for him. We managed to convince him to take the scooter, and he ended up really liking it (Example #5,193 of Mom and Dad being right despite doubt from a child.). Clara got to ride her new bicycle. It took her a little bit to get used to the pedaling, and she's not yet proficient with braking, but she did well overall. And Hannah still insists on being in a stroller, because that's what she does. Maybe someday she'll want to ride something else, but right now she really enjoys someone else doing all the work for her.
