Fun with Rockwell

This week our schedule is a little different. Halie has a graduation to go to so she worked today instead of tomorrow. The kids go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays, but since today is Wednesday, she had all day to spend with them. So she decided to take them to her house and play with her new puppy, Rockwell. The kids had a blast with him, though Hannah was really nervous at first because she hasn't really experienced puppy exuberance before and she is a cautious personality-type. But she warmed up to him and eventually liked him. The other two loved him right away. Clara, especially, really wishes for a more active pet than Natalie. She loves taking Natalie for a walk around the yard so much and Natalie hates this with all her heart. Rockwell probably would actually take her for a walk if he were on a leash, but she had a great time with him anyway, as did Joshua.
After that, everyone (including Rockwell) went to the park near Halie's house. The kids brought their scooters, though Hannah said, "You want me to choose between being pushed in a stroller or having to push a scooter? I choose the stroller", though she did push Rockwell in the stroller for awhile, which I am guessing was not his favorite part of the day.

They wrapped up their day with lunch at Fritz's, the train restaurant. Joshua especially loves Fritz's. Every time we go to a restaurant as a family, he says, "How about the train restaurant?" They had a fun day.
