Still A Member of the Zero Cavity Club

Today I took Clara to the dentist for her 6 month check. She did very well. Firstly, they had TVs on the ceiling and Clara is my TV fan. She was super cooperative for her exam because she was really focused on whatever she was watching (Mike the Knight, which is not even a show she normally watches).

She was really excited about brushing the dragon's teeth. She said he looked like Stuffy (from Doc McStuffins) and she also really liked talking to the assistant about the importance of brushing teeth.

After finishing up with Dr. Matt, she got her picture taken for the zero cavity club. She had a lot of fun and was really disappointed when it was time to go home. I had a little less of a good time since every time he sees her, Dr. Matt does mention she will most certainly need braces (though I feel like every kid gets braces these days and certainly Clara is out of room even with baby teeth so I am not unaware of this. Yet I am unexcited about braces and their cost.) and since she already has crowding and a minor underbite, she may be one of the kids that starts with a spacer in early elementary school.
